The Orders Menu in the system provides a comprehensive overview of various order-related functions and features. It allows tailors to efficiently manage their orders and streamline their workflow. Here’s a short overview of the Orders Menu:

  1. Create New Order: This option enables users to generate new orders by entering relevant details such as customer information, measurements, and design preferences. It initiates the order creation process.
  2. View/Edit Orders: Users can access a list of all existing orders and view their details. They can also make edits to orders if necessary, such as updating measurements or modifying design specifications.
  3. Track Order Status: This feature allows users to track the progress of each order, from creation to completion. It provides updates on the various stages of production, such as Received, Preparing, Ready, and Complete ensuring better order management and timely delivery.
  4. Generate receipt: The Order Menu allows users to generate receipts for each order. It automatically calculates the total cost based on the selected design complexity, and other factors. Invoices can be customized with the tailor’s branding and include payment details.
  5. Manage Payments: Users can record and manage payments for each order within the system. It helps in keeping track of paid and outstanding amounts, allowing for accurate financial reporting and client billing.
