Yes — the work starts with a failure assessment and a recovery feasibility report, so you see what is recoverable and at what cost before any recovery work is agreed. The assessment looks at what failed, the state the media or database is in, and which data actually matters to getting you operating again. You get an honest view of what cannot be recovered as well as what can, so the decision is based on likelihood rather than hope.

Server and hosting environment restoration is also in scope, so a damaged database sitting on a broken server can be handled as one piece of work rather than two.
